Common use

Zhewitra Soft tablets are prescribed to treat male erectile dysfunction. They contain vardenafil, which helps to get and sustain erections during sexual activity by improving blood flow to the penis. The mechanism of action of Zhewitra Soft tablets (generic vardenafil) is the inhibition of phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5), an enzyme that raises cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels in the penis. This results in increased blood flow and relaxed muscles, which help to facilitate erections during sexual stimulation.

Dosage and direction

Use Zhewitra Soft tablets for 15 to 30 minutes before having sex by chewing and swallowing them with water. For best effects, follow your doctor’s recommendations and don’t take more than the prescribed amount.

Precautions

Zhewitra Soft has not been studied in people with cardiovascular disease, so it is preferable to avoid Zhewitra Soft if in patients who have a stroke or heart failure, or a heart attack in history and especially within last six month. Before to take Zhewitra Soft inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, a bleeding disorder, stomach ulcer, or an inherited retinal disorder such as retinitis pigmentosa, allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medicines, deformation of the penis such as angulation, cavernous fibrosis (Peyronie's disease), as well as in diseases that contribute to the development of priapism (sickle-cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, or leukemia).

Contraindications

Zhewitra Soft is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to vardenafil and other ingredients; ones treated with organic nitrates, or those who take HIV protease inhibitors such as indinavir and ritonavir.

Most side effects typically fade away as your body acclimates to the medication. If they persist or if you have concerns, it is advisable to consult with your doctor. Common Side Effects of Zhewitra Soft: Headache; Flushing; Nasal congestion; Upset stomach; Back pain; Muscle aches; Dizziness; Blurred vision; Indigestion; Diarrhea.

Drug interaction

Zhewitra Soft metabolism is inhibited by erythromycin, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), indinavir (Crixivan) and ritonavir (Norvir). Zhewitra Soft reduces the concentration of ritonavir and indinavir. In patients treated with nitrates Zhewitra Soft may aggravate chest pain by increasing heart rate and lowering blood pressure. Zhewitra Soft is able to exaggerate the blood pressure lowering effects of alpha-blocking drugs (terazosin or hytrin). Zhewitra Soft never should be administered in patients who are treated with organic nitrates.

Missed dose

Zhewitra Soft is taken when needed but not more often than once daily so missed dose is not supposed.

Overdose

Symptoms of overdose include pain in the back, jaw, arm; blurred vision; chest pain or discomfort; decreased vision. Stop using Zhewitra Soft and contact with a doctor immediately.

Storage

Keep Zhewitra Soft tablets out of the reach of children and pets. Store them at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
